AMAITA Intercultura and TEJIDAS Lay the Groundwork for a Strategic Alliance to Promote the Social and Professional Integration of Latin American Women in Rome

The alliance will facilitate access to Italian language courses and promote the development of personalized projects to foster professional advancement.

Rome, September 25, 2026. – Representatives of the social promotion association AMAITA Intercultura, Sara Cese and Giovanni Stanisao, along with the co-founders of the TEJIDAS platform, Emma Quiroga and Isabel Vargas, held a strategic meeting yesterday at the Millepiani Coworking space. The meeting laid the groundwork for a joint collaboration aimed at fostering the personal, professional, and social growth of the TEJIDAS community in Italy.

The fundamental purpose of this initiative is to promote the effective integration of Latin American women into the social fabric of the workforce through the indispensable tool of language, which is necessary for effective communication. The Italian language courses offered by AMAITA—from which the TEJIDAS community will benefit—are an essential thread for this network and will help women improve their professional performance in Italy.

In the long term, both platforms plan to transform these initial training initiatives into tailor-made (ad hoc) projects designed to address the specific needs of the women who make up TEJIDAS, thereby consolidating the path toward true global citizenship.

About the organizations:

Its primary mission is to offer Italian language courses to migrants with the goal of fostering cultural exchange, social integration, and the development of a global and supportive sense of citizenship.

TEJIDAS: It is a platform focused on the development, well-being, empowerment, and sustainable support of its community, fostering talent and providing key tools for social and labor market integration.
