TEJIDAS Joins the “Forza e Bellezza” Network of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals
It all began with a conversation. On 20 August, Emma Quiroga and Isabel Vargas met in Rome with Marina Aragona, one of the founders of the Associazione Forza e Bellezza. At that first meeting, they identified common ground and, above all, a clear willingness on both sides to build a collaborative relationship in support of women.
That initial conversation led, on 7 September, to a concrete step: the official incorporation of TEJIDAS into Forza e Bellezza’s Rete di Imprenditrici e Professioniste, during the network meeting held in a hybrid format — in person in Rome and online — between 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm.
There, Isabel Vargas and Emma Quiroga introduced TEJIDAS to the rest of the network: they explained the origin of our name—from ‘tejer’ (to weave), referring to the value of connections between women—and shared stories of courage, initiative and professional reinvention experienced by the founders and by those who form part of our community, which today brings together nearly forty women in the Lazio region. The Rete welcomed TEJIDAS as a concrete and valuable project, and as part of this initial engagement, we invited Forza e Bellezza to the launch of our own integration project, scheduled for October at the Garbatella co-working space.
For us, joining this network is another step towards building real bridges with organisations in the local area that welcomes us.
